New Journey exists to lead people into a life-changing encounter with Jesus
Our History
New Journey Community Church began preview services in 2009 and officially launched in 2010. With our astonishingly successful Trunk or Treat event, New Journey established itself as a community-first church, truly seeking to connect people who are disconnected to God and others. In 2014 New Journey brought in members from Calvary Baptist Church as they closed their doors to widen the reach of our growing church. New Journey has continued to find favor with God and the people of Wabash over time, culminating in an unexpected opportunity to purchase the old W.C. Mills Elementary School and property. This is where we continue to worship, pray, and serve today.
VISION
We want to CONNECT with people in our community to help them know God, GROW in the freedom Jesus offers, and SHARE ourselves to make His Kingdom visible.

Our Beliefs
Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord's Spirit. We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Christ. We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
