How I Use PC Software

John Beck, 2nd Vice-President and Program Director of the New Jersey Computer Club, will show members how he uses various PC software to help him handle some of his daily record keeping challenges and special needs.

Included in this review will be four Microsoft Excel examples using features such as conditional formatting, sorting, filtering, subtotaling and new windows. In addition, some useful functions available in Excel will be shown and explained.

The EasyStep process in TurboTax 2004 for doing Federal and State tax returns will be shown and discussed as needed.

Quicken for managing financial matters will be reviewed for its use as a recording place for personal financial information and its reporting capabilities.
