Pocket CoPilot

Michael Goodman

Turn your Pocket PC device into an amazing GPS navigation system with Pocket CoPilot! This exciting, new technology provides unmatched detail, accuracy, and convenience for people who need directions anywhere in the continental US.

Michael Goodman, Product Manager for the Pocket CoPilot, will show us how the Pocket CoPilot not only shows you where to go, but it verbally guides you to your destination in real-time with audible text-to-speech directions. Yes, you'll hear, "1.3 miles ahead, turn left on South Street." If you miss a turn or get off track, Pocket CoPilot automatically reroutes you. Sound amazing? It is.

 Holiday Party/Chinese Auction

Rich Byrne

Rich Byrne, the 1st Vice-President of the New Jersey Computer Club and past President, will coordinate the annual Holiday Party and the TWO Chinese Auctions at this meeting. For the Holiday Party, members are requested to bring in their favorite holiday food, snack or drink to share with all on this special occasion.

Chinese Auctions: Our regular Chinese Auction will feature useable software and hardware donated by members. Please bring in items to donate to this. We would prefer Pentium level and Windows 98 or above. Three Free tickets will be available to members with the option to purchase an unlimited amount of $1 tickets for bidding on these items.

A special Chinese Auction for NJCC Members ONLY will feature brand new software and other items donated from past presenters to the NJCC. Tickets will be priced at $3 each (or $10 for four tickets), and all proceeds will benefit the Founders Memorial Award Fund.
