Minutes of the March 10, 2004 New Jersey Computer Club General Meeting The regular second Wednesday monthly General Meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club was held at the North Branch Reformed Church starting at 6:30 PM. There were 28 members in attendance. There was no business meeting except for announcements. John Beck led the Random Access Q&A period, and made a very interesting tour of Internet sites that he visited recently. These sites included www.epinions.com where various shopping type information is available, www.dvdrhelp.com where much information on audio/video software and hardware is available and www.wrigleyvideo.com where detailed instructions are available on using video software. John then did a presentation on the Intel Centrino Mobile Technology, which is Intel's new technology designed specifically for mobile computing with integrated wireless LAN capability and breakthrough mobile performance. He also presented the Intel Pentium 4 Processor w/Hyper-Threading (HT Technology) that delivers Intel's most advanced, most powerful processors for desktop PCs and entry-level workstations, which are based on the Intel NetBurst® microarchitecture.
