New Jersey Computer Club General Meeting
The
June General Meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club was held at the
North Branch Reformed Church. Approximately 34 members and guests were in
attendance.

Fred
Sabin, Club President, opened the meeting. There was no regular business
meeting, but Fred announced there would be a raffle of an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ Processor (In-A-Box).

Fred Sabin made a
comprehensive presentation on file compression software using the Club's
new Toshiba Digital Projector. |

Jim
Russ discussed Linux and demonstrated the Lindows Operating System and
compatible applications. |
|
|
The
AMD processor, provided by the generosity of Advanced Micro devices,
was raffled. |
