New Jersey Computer Club General Meeting
The
May General Meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club was held at the
North Branch Reformed Church. Approximately 45 members and guests were in
attendance.

Fred Sabin, Club President,
opened the business portion of the meeting. The minutes and treasurer's
report, as posted on the Web, were approved. |

A
motion was made and approved to provide a $500 New Jersey Computer Club
Founders' Memorial Award Scholarship to a Union County College student who
met the applicable criteria. |
|
|
A
motion was made and approved to authorize the purchase of a Toshiba
Digital Projector for a price not to exceed $1800. |
|
|
The
alternatives of fixing up of the present Club computer or purchasing
a new one were discussed. There will be further evaluation of the
issue. |
|
|
A Question and Answer session was held.
|
|
|
Tony of Advanced Micro Devices made a presentation
about the features of their microprocessors. |
