Minutes of the February 12, 2003

New Jersey Computer Club General Meeting

• The regular monthly General Meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club was held at the North Branch Reformed Church starting at 6:30 PM. There were 32 members and guests in attendance.

• John Beck led another very active “Random Access” Q&A period with Rich Byrne and Jim Russ assisting him. This regular meeting feature continues to be extremely popular and well received by our membership and guests.

• There was no business meeting.

• John Beck announced the following future programs:

   

  February 26^th - Alpha Software’s “Alpha Five Version 5” Database Program

  March 12^th - PowerQuest Corporation & AccessData Corporation Hard Drive Utilities

  March 26^th - Internet Random Access (John Beck)

  April 9^th - Creative Labs - Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Sound Card

  May 14^th - Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) – Computer Processors

• Gary Chrzan (CEO & Chief Software Architect) and Mike Stewart (VP & Sr. Marketing Manager) of GJC Software, Inc. made an excellent "Graphics Seminar" presentation of "EZ Viewer" (a program for viewing, printing, editing, enhancing, managing, and enjoying your pictures). They explained fast image loading, multiple picture viewing and printing with custom sizing, fast and easy red-eye reduction, superb cloning, changing backgrounds, removing objects, batch processing, image management, adding special effects, and much more.
