Minutes of the October 23, 2002
New Jersey Computer Club General Meeting
Fred Sabin called the
meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club to order at the North Branch Reformed
Church at 6:45 PM. There were 28 members and 1 guest in attendance.

Fred welcomed all in attendance.
·
John Beck led a “Random Access”
period to answer computer related questions from the audience.
·
Fred announced that on October
15th Microsoft posted (on their
http://www.microsoft.com website) a
complete listing of all of their products and their support policies on same.
·
Fred also announced that the
election of NJCC Officers for 2003 will be held at the November 13th
meeting. The NJCC Executive Committee is planning on nominating all of the
current officers for re-election. Anyone else that is interested in serving (or
assisting) as an officer should contact Fred (at president@njcc.org).

John Beck announced the following
future programs:

November 13th Meeting
on “I have no need for the Internet” (John Beck). There is also a possibility
that “Holiday Greeting Cards” and/or “Clothing Iron On Transfers” will be added
to the program. Check the
http://njcc.org website for final details on this meeting.

December 17th (NOTE
DATE CHANGE TO THIRD TUESDAY!) Meeting on “PC Music Options” (Doug Beck) & the
annual NJCC Holiday Party / Chinese Auction. Members are again asked to bring
food for the refreshments table, and software for the Chinese auction.

Jim Russ, Librarian of the New
Jersey Computer Club, shared his experience with different camera accessories
for the main meeting presentation. He explained and demonstrated their
operation, and answered numerous questions from the audience. We are grateful
for and again thank Jim for his continued service to the NJCC.

The meeting ended at 9:15 PM.
