New Jersey Computer Club Meeting
The
annual NJCC Holiday Meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club was held at the
North Branch Reformed Church starting at 6:30 PM. There were 66 members and
guests in attendance.
-
There
was a huge selection of all types of foods and beverages to eat and drink,
thanks to the many members who brought their favorite holiday food, snack or
drink to share with all on this special occasion.
-
Two
Chinese Auctions raised $261 for the NJCC Founders Memorial Award Fund. Our
regular Chinese Auction featured useable software and hardware donated by
members. In addition, a special Chinese Auction featured brand new software
and other items donated from past presenters to the NJCC (including Adobe,
Aladdin, Corel, McAfee, Microsoft, and PowerQuest).
John
Beck announced that Creative Labs is currently scheduled to make a
presentation on their sound cards and other products on January 9, 2002.
Details will be posted on the “njcc.org” website.
- Excellent
presentations were made by Lenny Laich on “FlipAlbum Photo Software”;
John Biegel on “Year-End Tax Planning”; and by Jeff Vance (Gateway
Country Representative) on “Digital Music, Photography and Windows XP”.
- The
meeting adjourned at 9:15 PM.
Respectfully Submitted,
