Minutes of the December 13, 2000
New Jersey Computer Club Meeting

• Fred Sabin called the meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club to order at the North Branch Reformed Church at 7:45 PM. There were 76 members and guests in attendance.

• Fred welcomed all in attendance. Guests were introduced, and NJCC policies were briefly explained.

• Fred thanked all those who had brought food to this Holiday Party Meeting. There was a huge selection of all types of food to eat.

• The membership was asked to keep the following members with health problems in their thoughts and prayers: Barbara Beck / John Huemer / Jim Russ

• A Motion was Made/Seconded & Approved to approve the Minutes and Treasurer’s Report as posted in the Newsletter on the njcc.org website.

• Fred explained that the NJCC does NOT recommend or endorse products or services, but that individual members may do so as individuals. Also, NJCC membership discounts on products are available on the njcc.org website in the NJCC Membership “Password Restricted Area”.

• John Beck announced the programs currently scheduled for January and February. Details may be found at the njcc.org website.

• An excellent presentation of “Quicken 2001” was made by Matt McCann. “Quicken 2001 Deluxe” helps you better manage the seven key areas of your finances: Banking, Investing, Taxes, Planning, Loans, Insurance, and Spending & Saving. Special User Group Member software was then available at the end of the presentation at greatly reduced prices.

• Drawings for the Chinese Auction followed, and many went home with software/hardware winnings.

• The meeting adjourned at 9:40 PM.
