Fred asked for any nominations from the membership, but no one was nominated.
The proposed slate of officers was elected by a unanimous vote of the membership.
Fred advised the members that due to the death of George Porcella, the first and only webmaster the NJCC has ever had, the Executive Committee asked Doug Beck to be the interim/acting NJCC Webmaster until the Executive Committee officially elects a new webmaster.
Fred asked that the Minutes and Treasurer's Report be approved as posted on the www.njcc.org website.
Fred presented some trivia that he found on the internet and amused the club. Click here to request the list of trivia from Fred (subject "Trivia").
Fred advised the members that the NJCC's mission, goals, and objectives are being reviewed. He asked the members of the club to send any comments or suggestions to president@njcc.org.
Fred announced that the Membership Drive was still going on. The member who is responsible for getting the most new dues-paying members by 12/13/2000 at 9:00 pm will receive the grand prize which is a copy of Microsoft Office 2000 Premium with a retail value of $800.
Fred pointed out how one can go to www.njcc.org, go to "Key Personnel" on the top menu, and click on an officer's name to see their picture or click on the icon to the right of their name to send them an e-mail.
Fred introduced Sonal Shah who presented Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition and Picture It! Publishing.
Respectfully Submitted,
