Fred Sabin called the meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club to order at the North Branch Reformed Church at 7:45 PM.
There were approximately 50 members and guests in attendance.
Fred welcomed all in attendance.
Fred announced that the burning question of Bill "WHO?" that arose from the Minutes of the December 1999 Meeting / Holiday Party , had finally been resolved. Bill "Who's" real name is Bill Williams.
Fred announced that Belkin Labs will give the presentation at the April Meeting.
By popular decision it was decided that the Minutes and the Treasurer's report would no-longer be read at the
Meetings and that they would be accepted as they are posted on the WEB.
The Club is now officially classified with a 501(c)7 Tax status.
The new Constitution and By-Laws are posted on the WEB for everyone to see, and they were accepted with a 2/3's vote.
The Club's final copy of Microsoft's Office 2000 Premium Edition was up for bidding (the highest bid over $210). Forrest Phillips made highest bid ($215) and was awarded the software.

Jim Russ and George Porcella gave the evening's presentation on low-cost and free
web and e-mail services.
