• Fred Sabin called the meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club to order at the North Branch Reformed Church at 7:40 PM.

• There were 71 members and guests in attendance.

• Fred welcomed all in attendance.

• With no objections, the membership agreed to approve the Minutes and Treasurer's Report as posted in the Newsletter on the www.njcc.org website.

• Fred announced that a "Draft/Proposed" revision to the NJCC Constitution & By-Laws was approved by the NJCC Executive Committee on February 2, 2000. It was available for review at the meeting; has been posted for review on the www.njcc.org website (under "News"); can be obtained by request by e-mail to president@njcc.org; and will be available for review at the March 15^th NJCC Meeting. This revision will also be voted upon at the March 15^th meeting (2/3 vote required for adoption).

• Fred announced that the final NJCC copy of Microsoft Office 2000 (Premium Edition) was available for purchase at this meeting at a minimum bid of $210. No bids were received.

• Fred announced with regret the resignation of Diana Pinchevsky as 2^nd VP, Publicity Chairperson, APCUG representative, and Program Committee member. Her numerous contributions to the NJCC were recognized with the greatest appreciation. Volunteers to fill these (and other) positions were then requested via a "NJCC Questionnaire" prepared and distributed by John Beck.

• The current NJCC Meeting program schedule is as follows:

March 15^th - Browsers, E-Mail and ISP's (George Porcella & Jim Russ)
April 12^th - Belkin Components (Hardware components)
May 10^th - PowerQuest (Hard-drive software)
June 14^th - Microsoft (Web Lifestyle - tools and resources)
July 12^th - Computer Fair
August - No Meeting

• Martin Lantaigne, a Product Specialist of Corel Corporation, made an excellent presentation on "WordPerfect Office 2000" and "Corel Linux OS". These products were then offered for sale at reduced User Group pricing.
